My Host Training was built on a simple belief: workplace safety training should be practical, approachable, and connected to the realities of the job.
Founded in 2021 by Mark Gilbert — who spent over 20 years working in Oil and Gas, Forestry, and Security before starting this company — My Host Training exists because he believes everyone deserves to go home safe.
Too often, training becomes something people complete just to meet a requirement. The certificate gets filed away, the information is forgotten, and the opportunity to make a real difference is lost. We believe safety deserves better.
That's why we focus on training that people can understand, remember, and confidently apply in the moments that matter most. Whether it's a WorkSafeBC-recognized first aid course, workplace certification, or ongoing safety consulting, our goal is the same: to help create workplaces where people feel
prepared, supported, and empowered to make safe decisions every day.
