Service Description
Achieve and maintain COR certification with confidence. This practical course provides employers and safety professionals with the knowledge and tools to prepare for successful Certificate of Recognition (COR) audits and strengthen their occupational health and safety management systems. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: - Explain the purpose and benefits of the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program. - Understand the structure and requirements of a COR audit. - Identify the key elements of an effective occupational health and safety management system. - Organize and maintain documentation required to support a successful COR audit. - Conduct internal reviews to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. - Understand the roles and responsibilities of management, supervisors, workers, and Joint Health and Safety Committees during the audit process. - Prepare for employee interviews and workplace observations conducted during a COR audit. - Develop corrective action plans to address audit findings and improve safety performance. - Demonstrate due diligence by maintaining accurate records and implementing continuous improvement practices. - Build and sustain a safety culture that supports long-term COR certification and organizational excellence.

Cancellation Policy
Cancelation: Transferring or Canceling a Course and Requesting a Refund • Canceling courses: Participants can cancel for a full refund or transfer to a different course date at no additional cost if they notify My Host Training via email ( info@myhosttraining.com ) at a minimum of 72 hours before the course start date. Missed Deadlines for Cancellation or Transfer • If a student does not notify My Host Training within the required time frame for cancellation or transfer, they are not eligible for a refund and are responsible for the full course fee. Late Arrivals • Certification conditions require students to participate in the full class, students who arrive late may not be allowed to join the class due to the missed time and content. Late students are not eligible for a refund and are responsible for the full course fee. Absentees • Students who fail to attend the course without prior notification are considered no-shows. No-shows are not eligible for a refund and are responsible for the full course fee. Illness-Related Absences • If a student cannot attend a course due to illness, a doctor’s note may be required to allow for a course date transfer. My Host Training must be notified 24hours before the course begins for the transfer to be allowed. Course Cancellations by My Host Training • My Host Training reserves the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment or unexpected instructor emergencies. If a course is canceled, participants will be offered the option to reschedule at no additional cost or receive a full refund. Failed Course Completion • If a student is unsuccessful in a course, they may re-register for the same course on a new date at a discounted rate of 50% off the original fee, up to a maximum of $200 plus applicable taxes. This discount is valid for up to 3 months after the original course date. If the student is unsuccessful a second time, future registrations will be charged at the full price.
