Service Description
Fall Protection Training Our Fall Protection Training is designed for workers who are exposed to fall hazards while working at heights. This comprehensive course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify fall hazards, select and inspect fall protection equipment, and use fall arrest and travel restraint systems safely. Participants will gain a clear understanding of employer and worker responsibilities, applicable regulations, and safe work practices to help prevent falls and ensure compliance with WorkSafeBC requirements. Whether you work in construction, roofing, maintenance, telecommunications, utilities, or industrial settings, this course provides practical, hands-on instruction to help you stay safe every time you leave the ground. What You Will Learn Understand fall hazards and how to recognize them in the workplace. Learn the requirements of WorkSafeBC regulations related to working at heights. Identify the different types of fall protection systems, including fall restraint, fall arrest, work positioning, and guardrails. Inspect and properly fit harnesses, lanyards, connectors, and anchor points. Understand anchor selection and fall clearance calculations. Learn how to safely use ladders, scaffolds, and elevated work platforms. Recognize equipment inspection, maintenance, and storage requirements. Understand rescue planning and emergency procedures following a fall. Apply safe work practices to reduce the risk of falls and serious injuries. Demonstrate the proper use of fall protection equipment through practical exercises. Certificate: Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a Fall Protection Certificate of Completion. Practical hands-on training is included to ensure workers can safely apply what they have learned on the job."

Cancellation Policy
Cancelation: Transferring or Canceling a Course and Requesting a Refund • Canceling courses: Participants can cancel for a full refund or transfer to a different course date at no additional cost if they notify My Host Training via email ( info@myhosttraining.com ) at a minimum of 72 hours before the course start date. Missed Deadlines for Cancellation or Transfer • If a student does not notify My Host Training within the required time frame for cancellation or transfer, they are not eligible for a refund and are responsible for the full course fee. Late Arrivals • Certification conditions require students to participate in the full class, students who arrive late may not be allowed to join the class due to the missed time and content. Late students are not eligible for a refund and are responsible for the full course fee. Absentees • Students who fail to attend the course without prior notification are considered no-shows. No-shows are not eligible for a refund and are responsible for the full course fee. Illness-Related Absences • If a student cannot attend a course due to illness, a doctor’s note may be required to allow for a course date transfer. My Host Training must be notified 24hours before the course begins for the transfer to be allowed. Course Cancellations by My Host Training • My Host Training reserves the right to cancel a course due to low enrollment or unexpected instructor emergencies. If a course is canceled, participants will be offered the option to reschedule at no additional cost or receive a full refund. Failed Course Completion • If a student is unsuccessful in a course, they may re-register for the same course on a new date at a discounted rate of 50% off the original fee, up to a maximum of $200 plus applicable taxes. This discount is valid for up to 3 months after the original course date. If the student is unsuccessful a second time, future registrations will be charged at the full price.
